According to an alleged leaked medical report, Imane Khelif, an Algerian boxer, has 5-alpha reductase deficiency, a rare genetic disorder that affects a biological male’s sexual maturation. Djaffar Ait Aoudia, a French journalist, got the purported report. According to the study, Khelif “has no uterus and possesses internal testicles.” Khelif received criticism from swimmer Riley Gaines.
According to a purportedly leaked medical report, Algerian boxer Imane Khelif, who was at the center of a gender controversy at the Olympic Games in Paris earlier this year, has 5-alpha reductase deficiency, a rare genetic condition that affects sexual development in biological males. The allegations have renewed criticism of the boxer. According to the article, which was obtained by French journalist Djaffar Ait Aoudia, Khelif “has no uterus and possesses internal testicles.” Times Now has not independently confirmed the report, which was credited to medical professionals from the Mohamed Lamine Debaghine Hospital in Algiers and the Kremlin-Bicêtre Hospital in Paris in June 2023.
The public reacted negatively to Aoudia’s remark after it swiftly became viral on social media. Khelif was chastised by swimmer Riley Gaines, who said, “Do you recall the man who took home an Olympic gold in women’s boxing? According to his medical records, he possesses a micropenis, testicles, male testosterone levels, and XY chromosomes. However, that never mattered because they think that a woman is defined by her words and feelings rather than her genetics.
“The Olympics wanted you to believe this is a WOMAN,” added internet user Oli London. Imane Khelif was permitted to win a gold medal by beating up women. People who opposed the injustice were labeled “racists.” According to recent medical studies, Imane Khelif is indeed a man.
“My trust in God, in myself, and in my dream allowed me to conquer anything. I never would have become a champion without these challenges,” Khelif continued.
Khelif previously came under fire for her gender when it was reported that the 25-year-old boxer was disqualified from the 2023 world championships due to an alleged failure of the International Boxing Association’s (IBA) gender eligibility criteria. The IOC, on the other hand, disagreed with the IBA’s conclusions, saying, “Scientifically, this is not a man fighting a woman.” At the Olympics in Paris, Khelif took home a gold medal.
Due to alleged “aggravated cyber harassment,” Khelif filed a cyberbullying lawsuit in August, targeting prominent individuals such as Elon Musk and J.K. Rowling.
